Flat panel Solar Water Heating System uses the thermosiphon
principle to transfer heat from collector to water inside the
tank. The collectors are coated with a heat absorbent surface
which absorbs the sun rays and beats fluid in the collector. As
the fluid is heated it rises to the top of the collector panel and
into the tank were it displaces cooler fluid which flows into
bottom of the collector panel where the process is repeated. The
more temperature difference between the fluid in the collector
panel and in the tank the faster flow and the heat exchange.
Using thermosiphon system-Depending on the different density
between hot water and cold water, a water flowing cycle is created
in the tubes. Hot water flows automatically upwards while the cold
water flows down. The water in the storage tank will be heated
from the natural circulation.
